My name is May Shalabieh and I define myself as human-being; I have always been interested in further exploring the spiritual side of my exsistence and in experiencing a sense of unity with the Universe.
I dream of peace, especially in the region where I come from: the Middle East. I wonder how intelligent yet how stupid mankind can be. When God created earth, there were no borders, or passports or nationalities; we created that…and later decided to fight and kill innocent people because of something that is not actually there. If we go to the border between any two countries, I will not find a border line…but I may find bloodshed..
None of us chose our nationality or gender..among some other things; funny enough we are ready to judge and fight people who are not of our nationality or religion or those who do not carry the same beliefs…
I truly wish we could see past colour, language and nationality and take a closer look at the human-beings who stand in front of us..
